#9 Changes

I think that with the new course programme (that started in 2016) the university canned improve more things that been wrong in the course programme of 2015. Still is observed that the programme is as a experiment and the new subject that was proposed not function very good.
For example, Transversal is a subject that consider gather the three career of the faculty, and I think that is a marvelous idea, I would like learn about Geography and especially about Design,and work together, but this semester was the first occasion that the course was imparted,  and only students of architecture and geography canned study this subject. Because? I not know, but as well as exist five courses different, with other tematics, but no student say that "I like the subject". Everyone complains that the teachers improvised the class, and is true. I would like that the Transversal, that I should study the six semester, will more planned.

With respect to workload, I think that is difficult reduce this, but will be ideal that the all teacher respect the dates!! for example, if a day is a official holiday or if the students vote for stoppage, the normal is that the date of hand over of a work be the next class, but some teachers request the work for the next day, and the problem is that interrupt my other subject, I porpouse my time according to my schedule of classes and that this subject appear, when I not destiny time for this, ruins everything!

#5 My future job

When I think about my future jobs, I imagine me working in a small study of architecture, in my practice, and after I imagine me work in a municipality, of steady way. I haven't a clarity about the job opportunities, I know that a architect can work in many specialties, but I only know about desing and urban plannig, and I prefer the last, although not is a popular area. I prefer a schedule office job to full-time, I like have a organized week and I don´t like work-at-home. With a freelance schedule I would can accumulate work fo the last minute and that not is good. The idea of have my own study of architecture not excite me, I prefer a consolidated business. I would like travel, but not especially for my job because I would haven't free time for go all over, but not si a opportuny that I would reject. Whit respect to salary, I think than I would start with a small salary, around of $500.000CLP and with the time (more experience) my salary would can grow around of 1.0...

#2 Mago de öz concert!

This was my first concert!. Was a 21th May of 2015 in the "Teatro Caupolicán". The concert was of Mago de Öz, my favourite band. This is a Folck-Metal band, the difference owith other styles of metal is that they use classic instruments in combination whit electric instruments. I loved this band not only for the music (rhythm), also i liked the focus of his lyrics. I knew this band in the high school when I participated in the orchestra school. I loved the armony between electric sound and classic melodies Before the concert the people looked very intimidating, the guys used black wear and in the line to enter (I dont remember the time I waited...) the people drank beer!, was very funny... In the concert all people sang and jumped, in an moment all (inclusive me) waited  anxiously a song in specif and in a paused of the concert (when the singer talked a little) all people start to sing the lyrics of this song. #4 Stress in FAU

I think that stress is a topic extremely normalize in FAU (not only in the career of architecture) and I consider that this is very stupid, I not undertand how someone feel proud for learn at the expense of sleep only 3 hours. Ok, the teacher can be very good, but, overload of work is the only form o learn? Obviously no. In FAU, the stress is generated for the accumulation of work, not only of workshop, of all the subjects, this added to frustration can generated depression. The problem is that all subjects are important, but the teacher of workshop consider normal left out the other subjects for can finish the workshop work, and is logic that this is a bad idea. I my case, I suffered very much in my first year, mainly because I thought that this pace of work was normal and that I not was capable. Finally, I understood that my quality of life decreased and not was my blame, the next semester I chose with care my teachers. My only advice is not to blame oneself, the problem is the...
